Backpacking 5 Visa-Free Countries

Updated March 18, 2018

I’ve been wanting to travel on my own ever since I graduated college, but my savings at that time wouldn’t suffice for this type of insanity. So about 8 months into my first job, I finally saved up for a trip that wouldn’t let me hold back with whatever I wanted.

Initially, my plan was to just buy a one-way ticket somewhere international and just go from there, but upon researching online, I found out that it’s not possible to do that. I scrapped that idea and just decided to make a loose itinerary on multiple visa-free places. I started with Hong Kong because I’ve never been to a Disneyland before. I checked out flights, accommodations, and tourist spots, everything. I didn’t do anything else that day but carefully plan a dream-like trip. By nighttime, I ended it with Singapore, because I’ve never been to a Universal Studios. I love theme parks obviously. After finishing the draft, I decided to push through with it and book everything the day after. The feeling it gave me while paying for each booking, and actually sealing my plan, was the most alive I’ve ever felt in quite a long time. And I did all that 3 weeks before the actual trip. #HeIsActuallyCrazy

This is gonna be a series of posts, with stories and photos about each destination that I went to. But first, I’m gonna list here the rundown of things I did from Day 1 to Day 20, as a table-of-contents-of-sort thing ya know.
